We had a baby!

Maria and Colin Turnbull (and the rest of the Vantage Point team!) are very pleased to announce the birth of their son, Liam Arthur David Turnbull on Monday February 1st at 5:32am.  Liam weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. at birth, and the whole family is doing well.  

Welcome to the Turnbull and Vantage Point families, Liam!  

 

 


  

Vantage Point as a new name

Volunteer Vancouver has officially started doing business as Vantage Point.   We'll still be doing business as Volunteer Vancouver too, and our mission, programs and membership benefits remain the same.

 2nd Vancouver Timeraiser raised 5,000+ hours

 Highlights from the 2nd Annual Vancouver Timeraiser include:  
 - over 380 people attended with 150 participants making the 'pledge'
- 5,355 total volunteer hours pledged to 25 Volunteer Vancouver member organizations
- 20 of the 25 pieces of art went for their maximum bid
- 25 Timeraiser volunteers contributed 1,500+ hours to organize
- $15,000 invested into the careers of BC-based, up and coming artists
